This will ensure the area retains heat in the colder months on top of preventing any unwanted bugs from finding their way into your home.
Remember never to use a pressure washing apparatus on your conservatory as that can destroy the sealing's integrity.
Window Maintenance
The biggest factor in your conservatory's aesthetic is the condition of your windows. Make sure your windows are kept spick and span by following recommended window maintenance routines.
Every week, wipe down your windows with a damp cloth. Every couple of months, use a soft sponge, a squeegee, and some window cleaning product to get a really good deep clean.
As a general rule, the double glazed windows that you should be using in your conservatory are easier to keep clean than regular glass, but that doesn't mean that they are 100% maintenance-free.
Lubrication of Hinges
Last but not least, make sure that you keep all of the hinges and metal parts of your conservatory well lubricated. For our metal hinges, this will mean using some kind of oil-based lubrication.
If you use any plastic hinges or runners for your windows, be sure to use an aerosol-based spray for those hinges so that they don't gum up like they would with an oil-based product.
